Happy 4th of July

Hi everyone. I hope everyone will be safe today but have fun. We had our celebration last night. My firefighter husband has to work today. I hope he's not too busy today!

Jesse James in guerrilla shirt
I have been working on some civil war clothing lately. I make confederate guerrilla shirts like the one Jesse James is wearing in one of his famous pictures. What do you think?

My version
Have a safe and happy 4th!

Job well done Sandy - is that your own pattern? I am featuring the Lincoln Quilt book tomorrow on my Sunday Stash post. Feel free to stop by where you are mentioned. Cheers, Fiona

Thanks Fiona, I used parts of a regular period shirt and changed what I needed to come up with a shirt like Jesse James has on. I only live about a mile from the Jesse James farm. I have been fortunate enough to be able to spend time with Jesse's great granddaughter, Betty Barr. Very interesting. I will look forward to your post!
Thanks Sandy
